The QNAP TS-453E-8G 4-bay tower NAS is designed as a centralized storage and data management server for small and medium-sized businesses. It uses an Intel Celeron J6412 quad-core processor with a base frequency of 2 GHz and a boost frequency of 2.6 GHz. The system comes with 8 GB of RAM, which is the maximum capacity supported by this configuration. The unit holds up to four 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA III drives. Two 2.5 GbE ports support network transfer speeds of up to 2,500 Mbit/s, and two internal M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs allow for cache acceleration or high-speed storage volumes.

The black tower chassis features an active cooling system with a 120 mm fan and a 90 W external power supply.
