The Aruba (HPE) 2-Port 10GBASE-T MACsec module for 5140 and 5520 series switches is an internal expansion adapter for enterprise networking equipment. It installs directly into an available slot to increase port density without requiring a system replacement. This adapter supports data transmission speeds of up to 10,000 Mbit/s, providing the bandwidth necessary for heavy traffic across local area networks.

Integrated MACsec standards provide hardware-based, link-layer encryption for data transmitted between connected nodes. These security protocols protect sensitive information moving through corporate access and aggregation layers from unauthorized interception. The module provides a physical interface for expanding Ethernet connectivity within an established switch environment.
