The Audio-Technica AT-LPW30TK is a manual, belt-drive turntable designed for analog playback. The motor supports both 33 ⅓ and 45 RPM speeds. A built-in, switchable phono preamplifier allows for direct connection to active speakers or a line-level input on an amplifier; alternatively, the internal preamp can be bypassed using a selector switch if you are using an external phono stage. As a fully manual deck, the tonearm must be cued and returned by hand. This design reduces the number of internal mechanical parts to help ensure consistent rotation.

The turntable is built on an MDF plinth with a teak-effect finish, which helps dampen low-frequency vibrations. A die-cast aluminium platter provides a stable surface for records. The straight, balanced tonearm is fitted with a removable headshell and an AT-VM95C Dual Moving Magnet cartridge. With dimensions of 420 mm by 340 mm by 116.9 mm and a weight of 3900 g, the unit fits on standard media consoles. A transparent dust cover is included. The turntable connects to audio equipment via the supplied dual RCA stereo cable and includes a 45 RPM adapter for single-track records.
