The Cooler Master MasterBox 520 Mesh is a midi-tower PC case constructed with a focus on airflow. Its front panel utilizes a fine mesh design to facilitate high-volume air intake for internal components. The chassis is built from a combination of steel and ABS materials and includes a single tempered glass side panel, which provides a view of the build's interior. A bottom-mounted power supply shroud and integrated cable management features are included to assist with organized assembly.

This case offers broad compatibility with multiple motherboard form factors, including standards up to E-ATX and SSI CEB. The cooling system is designed to be versatile, with support for up to three 120 mm or 140 mm fans in both the front and top positions. It arrives with three 120 mm ARGB fans pre-installed at the front and one 120 mm fan at the rear. For liquid cooling, the chassis can accommodate radiators up to 360 mm in the front and top, and a 120 mm radiator at the rear.

Component clearances allow for CPU coolers up to 165 mm in height and ATX power supplies up to 200 mm in length. For storage, the case is equipped with a drive cage that holds two 3.5-inch drives and dedicated mounting points for three 2.5-inch drives. The front I/O panel provides access to one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and a combination audio jack. The case also features removable dust filters for maintenance.
