The Ubiquiti UniFi Protect All-In-One Sensor (UP-Sense) is an indoor multisensor for security and environmental monitoring. It detects motion, door status, and tampering, while its secondary sensors track temperature, humidity, ambient light, water leaks, and existing alarm sounds. Rather than using Wi-Fi or wired networks, the module communicates via a short-range wireless link. Powered by a CR123A battery, the unit requires no cabling, allowing it to be placed easily near entry points.

Housed in a white polycarbonate casing, the cylindrical sensor fits unobtrusively into homes or offices. It can be mounted on flat surfaces, corners, or magnetically, making it easy to attach to door frames and window sills. As the device is not weatherproof, it is for indoor use only. An integrated LED provides status feedback during setup and operation, while a reset button on the housing allows for simple network re-pairing.
