The Cisco Catalyst 9136I is a tri-band wireless access point for enterprise environments that require Wi-Fi 6E. It operates across the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz frequency bands, providing additional spectrum for high-density environments. The device supports a combined wireless throughput of 10,200 Mbit/s. It uses MU-MIMO and beamforming to manage signal distribution and improve efficiency, supporting up to 400 simultaneous devices on a managed network.

For wired connectivity, the device features two RJ-45 ports supporting multigigabit Ethernet speeds of up to 5,000 Mbit/s. It is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), which simplifies installation in areas without local power outlets. Security is provided by WPA2, WPA3, and TLS encryption.
