The Aruba AP-585EX (RW) is a dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 access point. It operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with a maximum combined throughput of 2970 Mbit/s—specifically 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 2400 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. Four internal antennas support a 4x4 configuration, allowing for up to 1024 concurrent devices. MU-MIMO technology manages data streams across multiple clients. The unit is designed for use in hazardous industrial environments.

Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE). The device includes two RJ-45 or SFP+ ports capable of 1000 and 5000 Mbit/s transfer rates.
