The Motorola VM85 Connect is a hybrid video baby monitor consisting of a camera unit and a handheld receiver. The camera and the display unit allow you to keep an eye on the nursery, with a wireless range of up to 300 m for use throughout the home. The parent unit is powered by a 2000 mAh internal battery, offering up to 5 hours of cordless operation. You can also view the camera feed remotely via the Motorola Nursery app when the system is connected to Wi-Fi.

The camera features a two-way speaker for talking to your child. For nighttime use, the unit includes an integrated night mode and a built-in nursery nightlight. An onboard temperature sensor monitors the room and displays the reading on the parent unit. A series of LEDs provides a visual indication of sound levels, even if the receiver volume is muted. Additionally, the system includes noise and motion detection, which sends automated alerts if there is movement or noise in the nursery.
