The Synology WRX560 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router designed for desktop placement. It supports the 802.11ax standard across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, delivering data transfer rates of up to 600 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 2400 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. The hardware utilizes internal antennas and incorporates beamforming technology to optimize signal directionality. This model supports intelligent mesh technology for network expansion and is rated to handle up to 150 simultaneously connected devices.

Wired connectivity is provided via four RJ-45 Ethernet ports, featuring a 2.5GbE WAN/LAN port and standard Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. These ports support data transfer rates of 1000 Mbit/s and 2500 Mbit/s for high-speed local networking. One USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port is available for external device integration. Security is managed through WPA3-Enterprise and WPA2 protocols, supported by a built-in firewall, URL filtering, and comprehensive VPN server capabilities. Management is conducted through a web-based interface, providing access to Quality of Service (QoS) controls and detailed parental monitoring tools.
