The TP-Link Tapo C420S1 Smart Wire-Free Security Camera System monitors indoor and outdoor spaces. The Wi-Fi camera records at a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels at 20 frames per second, providing four-megapixel images. Its 113° horizontal field of view covers wide areas with a single lens. In low light, the Starlight CMOS sensor and 850 nm IR LED activate automatically. This infrared night vision provides visibility up to 15 metres in complete darkness. The device connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for Ethernet cabling.

The bullet-style camera has an IP65 rating, protecting internal hardware from dust and rain. The mounting base supports tabletop, wall, or ceiling installation. Motion detection classifies human, vehicle, and pet activity to reduce false alerts. Two-way audio with active noise cancellation allows for communication via the built-in microphone and speaker.
