The Fractal Design North is a midi tower case that integrates airflow-focused engineering with design elements intended for home and office environments. Its steel chassis features fine-patterned mesh ventilation on the top and sides, complemented by a front panel with real oak accents. This design prioritizes thermal performance while maintaining a distinct aesthetic. The internal layout is arranged for standard component compatibility and includes integrated cable management features to facilitate a clean build process.

The case's thermal design supports a range of cooling configurations. The open front and mesh top are engineered for high-volume airflow with minimal obstruction, and the case includes two 140 mm Aspect PWM fans to establish an effective airflow path from the factory. For storage, the enclosure provides dedicated mounting locations for both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives. The top-mounted I/O panel provides access to two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB-C port, and audio connections for peripherals.
