Zyxel WAX655E - Outdoor Access Point, White

The Zyxel WAX655E is a dual-band outdoor access point that supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard. It operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to provide a maximum combined throughput of 5400 Mbit/s. Data transfer rates reach 4800 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 575 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. The device uses 4x4 MU-MIMO technology to handle simultaneous data streams and features six integrated antennas designed for outdoor environments. It is backward compatible with the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards.

An IP67-rated enclosure protects the hardware against dust and water in exposed locations. The unit is designed for external mounting and draws power via Power over Ethernet (PoE). A single RJ-45 Ethernet port provides wired WAN connectivity. Security protocols include WPA3, WPA2, and WEP for encrypted communication. The device measures 256 mm in width and 257 mm in depth. No AC adapter is included, as the unit is intended for professional PoE-based installations.
