The ASUS ZenWiFi AX XT8 is a tri-band mesh system utilizing the Wi-Fi 6 networking standard. This 2-pack configuration provides a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 6600 Mbit/s, with band-specific rates of 574 Mbit/s, 1201 Mbit/s, and 4804 Mbit/s. The system incorporates MU-MIMO and beamforming technologies to maintain signal stability across a coverage area of up to 660 m². It supports 150 connected devices and utilizes 1024-QAM modulation for efficient data throughput across the wireless network.

Wired connectivity includes three Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and one dedicated Ethernet WAN port. A single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port is available for shared storage with Samba support. Security is managed through WPA2-Enterprise and WPA-PSK protocols, alongside an integrated firewall and URL filtering. The system supports VPN protocols including OpenVPN, PPTP, and WireGuard for client and server applications. Device management is handled via a web-based interface, providing access to Quality of Service (QoS) and parental controls.
