The ASUS ZenWiFi XD4 Plus is a Wi-Fi 6 dual-band mesh system supplied as a three-unit package, designed to cover large residential areas up to 445.93 m². This system utilizes 802.11ax technology, delivering a maximum combined data transfer rate of 1800 Mbit/s. The 5 GHz band provides speeds up to 1201 Mbit/s, while the 2.4 GHz band operates at up to 574 Mbit/s, ensuring bandwidth is allocated for both high-speed streaming and long-range connectivity.

Each mesh unit includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports for dedicated wired connections; one port can be configured for either WAN or LAN functionality. Internal components include a processor supported by 256 MB of internal memory and 128 MB of flash storage, allowing the system to handle connectivity for up to 500 devices. Stability across the network is maintained through Beamforming and MU-MIMO technologies, optimizing signal focus to multiple endpoints concurrently.

Network management is available via a web interface or the dedicated ASUS Router app, supporting features like QoS prioritization and DHCP functions. Security protocols include WPA3 encryption, integrated firewall functions (AiProtection), and comprehensive parental controls. The white housing uses two internal antennas and supports placement on desktops or walls.
