The QNAP QSW-M2106PR-2S2T is a Layer 2 managed 2.5GbE/10GbE PoE++ switch featuring two SFP+ slots for network segmentation and device power. With a 110 Gbit/s switching capacity, it manages traffic efficiently. It features six 2.5 Gigabit RJ-45 ports for devices such as access points and IP cameras, alongside two 10G SFP+ slots for high-bandwidth fibre uplinks to the network core. A 16,000-entry MAC address table ensures precise frame forwarding.
The 1U form factor fits standard racks. The switch provides a 310 W total PoE budget, sufficient for multiple high-power devices. Configuration is handled via a web-based interface or the RJ-45 console port. Traffic control includes IEEE 802.1Q VLAN support and link aggregation. Two internal fans manage thermal regulation, with a maximum power consumption of 350 W.
