METABO MA 36-18 LTX BL Q Cordless Multi-Tool Power Unit

The METABO MA 36-18 LTX BL Q Cordless Multi-Tool Power Unit is a battery-powered drive unit for demanding garden maintenance, rather than a complete hedge trimmer. It operates compatible attachments for different outdoor tasks. Variable-speed control allows its output to be adjusted up to 8,200 rpm to suit the fitted accessory and working conditions. Cutting length, tooth spacing, and branch capacity therefore depend on the attachment selected.

The power system uses two 18 V battery packs to provide 36 V operation. Both packs come from the CAS Cordless Alliance System platform. The unit is compatible with all 18 V battery packs and chargers from participating CAS brands. It is supplied as a body-only tool, with batteries, charger, and working attachments all sold separately.

At 3 kg excluding batteries, the unit's working weight will increase once both required packs and an attachment are installed. A shoulder strap is supplied to distribute the load during longer maintenance sessions. Its quick-coupling system supports tool-free attachment changes when moving between compatible tasks. The 1,052 mm body provides an extended two-handed form suited to operating interchangeable garden accessories.
