The PHANTEKS D30-120 is a 120 mm fan with a reversed blade orientation, designed for PC case intake applications. This configuration allows the fan's frame and hub to be visible from inside the case while pulling air in. Each fan has a 30 mm thick frame, which is thicker than the standard 25 mm, contributing to its performance characteristics. The design targets a balance between high airflow, at 61.5 CFM, and static pressure, at 2.72 mmH2O, making it suitable for use with radiators or as a chassis intake fan against mesh panels. This package contains three white fans.

Fan speed is controlled via a 4-pin PWM header, supporting a range from 250 to 2000 RPM. Integrated D-RGB lighting is present on the fan frame and blades, which can be synchronized across multiple units. The fans connect using an included bridge and corner clip system, which passes power and lighting signals between them to simplify cable management. Operation is based on a Fluid Dynamic Bearing, which is selected for its durability and low operational noise at various speeds.
