DJI RC Motion 2 Motion Controller White

The DJI RC Motion 2 Motion Controller is a one-handed drone flight controller compatible with the DJI Avata. At 170 g, it keeps the control unit relatively light in the hand while replacing a conventional dual-stick layout. Motion-sensing input steers the aircraft as the user moves and tilts their hand. A dedicated trigger manages acceleration, and an integrated joystick adds direct control over flight direction and altitude. Hand orientation therefore becomes part of the directional input, rather than relying solely on thumb movements.

The controller’s physical controls also cover braking, takeoff, and landing, keeping these core functions on the handheld unit. A function dial provides access to camera adjustments such as ISO and shutter speed, while separate controls take photos and start or stop video recording. This layout combines aircraft movement and camera operation without requiring a second hand for the main control grip. It is intended for intuitive, motion-based flight rather than the familiar feel of two independent control sticks.
