TOMBOW 8900-HB, graphite pencil, 12 pcs, Graphite

The Tombow 8900-HB Wood-Cased Graphite Pencils, Pack of 12 is a traditional pencil set for writing and drawing on paper. The HB lead places the graphite at a practical middle level of hardness. It produces a clear, balanced line rather than one suited to very dark shading or unusually hard drafting marks. This grade works well for everyday handwriting, note-taking, and general office or school use. It also covers drafting, sketching, and general drawing when one moderate graphite grade is sufficient.

Each pencil has a wood casing with a lacquered finish. The barrel is hexagonal, giving it flat faces rather than the uninterrupted curve of a round pencil. These faces keep the pencil oriented consistently between the fingers and reduce its tendency to roll on a flat desk. The construction is fixed, with the graphite core held inside the wooden body rather than advanced through a mechanical feed. The pencils are intended for use on paper, including common stationery, notebooks, and drawing sheets.

• 12 pencils per pack: provides multiple matching pencils for regular use.
• Box packaging: keeps the set together between uses.
• Solid green housing: gives each pencil a consistent exterior colour.
• Pointed graphite tip: uses a conventional exposed point for making marks.
• No built-in eraser: a separate eraser is required for corrections.
• No pencil sharpener included: sharpening equipment must be obtained separately.
