The CHIEFTEC NF-3012-RGB is a set of three 120 mm case fans designed to provide system airflow and customizable illumination. Each fan utilizes a 9-blade design and a hydraulic bearing, operating at speeds up to 1600 RPM. This configuration generates a maximum airflow of 68 CFM and a static pressure of 2.2 mmH2O. The fans are equipped with 4-pin PWM connectors, enabling motherboard-based speed control to balance cooling performance against acoustic output, which is rated at a maximum of 24 dB.

Each fan incorporates a dual-ring lighting system with 32 addressable RGB LEDs. The kit includes a control hub and an infrared remote, allowing for direct management of lighting effects and colors. For integration with a broader system, the lighting can be synchronized with compatible motherboards via a standard 3-pin +5V A-RGB header. This supports common software ecosystems such as ASUS AURA SYNC, MSI MYSTIC LIGHT SYNC, ASRock POLYCHROME SYNC, and GIGABYTE RGB FUSION.
