The StarTech PR22GI-NETWORK-CARD is a dual-port 2.5GbE PCIe network interface card for PCs and servers. It installs into a standard PCI Express 2.0 x2 slot and provides two independent RJ45 connections. Powered by the Intel I225-V chipset, the card supports data transfer speeds of up to 2,500 Mbit/s. It is a wired-only network interface and does not include Wi-Fi. The dual-port configuration allows for separate network paths or for handling high-traffic local workloads.

In managed networking environments, the card supports VLAN tagging for traffic segmentation and Quality of Service (QoS) protocols for data flow prioritisation. It operates in full-duplex mode for simultaneous data transmission, while Auto MDI-X functionality supports various cable types, eliminating the need for crossover cables. Built-in LED indicators for link and activity allow administrators to verify connection status directly at the port. The adapter also supports Wake-on-LAN, allowing IT staff to start connected systems remotely. It is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, and Linux.
