The be quiet! Dark Base Pro 901 is a full-tower chassis designed for flexible system configurations and extensive hardware support. Its modular construction allows for an inverted motherboard layout and includes interchangeable front and top panels to optimize for either maximum airflow or low-noise operation. The case accommodates a wide range of form factors, from Mini-ITX up to E-ATX and XL-ATX, providing ample interior space for large components. It is built with a steel frame, aluminum surfaces, and a tempered glass side panel for component visibility.

Cooling capacity is extensive, with mounting locations for multiple radiators up to 420 mm in the front and 360 mm in the top and side. Three 140 mm PWM fans are included to provide initial airflow, with a maximum rotational speed of 1900 RPM.
