BOSCH, PRO Metal S1225VF, 300 mm, Reciprocating (Sabre) Saw Blade

The BOSCH PRO Metal S1225VF is a reciprocating (sabre) saw blade designed for demolition work and heavy metal cutting. At 300 mm long, it cuts metal sections up to 10 mm thick in a single pass. It is intended for metal pipes, metal profiles, medium-thick and thick sheet metal, and non-ferrous metals. The blade is a consumable rather than a complete saw, and it is sold in a pack of five so replacements are on hand when the teeth wear down during prolonged demolition work.

The blade is made from bi-metal, combining a flexible body with a hardened cutting edge to resist tooth breakage under load. At 1.25 mm thick and 268 g per blade, it is sturdy enough for aggressive cutting while still fitting standard S-shank reciprocating and sabre saws. The bi-metal construction allows the body to flex without snapping, while the tooth edge keeps its sharpness over repeated cuts in harder metals.
