PORT Designs 16" 2D Touchscreen Privacy Filter, 16:10

The PORT DESIGNS 16:10 Privacy Filter is an optical accessory designed for 16-inch laptops utilizing the 16:10 aspect ratio. This black 2D filter limits the lateral viewing angle, ensuring screen contents remain private in landscape orientation for the immediate user. The filter is precision-cut to the physical dimensions of 344.5 mm wide by 215 mm high. Its primary function is to secure sensitive data displayed on the screen from observers positioned to the side, suitable for use in shared working environments or public transit.

Installation utilizes a simple clip-on system, allowing the user to attach and remove the filter rapidly without the need for adhesives. This installation mechanism is engineered specifically to avoid interfering with the laptop’s closure or hinge operation. Beyond privacy, the matte surface finish is antireflective, assisting in the reduction of glare and light reflection. The filter also features integrated anti-blue light capabilities, which can contribute to reduced eye strain during extended computing sessions. The material construction provides durable protection for the underlying LCD screen against scratches and dust.
