The CORSAIR iCUE LINK QX120 RGB Starter Kit contains three 120mm PWM fans designed to simplify the installation process for PC cooling and lighting. It utilizes the iCUE LINK single-cable ecosystem, which connects the fans in series to the included System Hub to reduce internal wiring clutter. Each fan is constructed with 34 individually addressable RGB LEDs distributed across two light loops, with synchronization and customization managed through the CORSAIR iCUE software. This integrated system centralizes fan power, control, and lighting data through a single connection type.
For cooling performance, each fan generates up to 63.1 CFM of airflow and 3.8 mmH2O of static pressure, making them functional for both open case ventilation and restricted airflow applications like radiators. The rotational speed is adjustable via PWM from 480 to 2400 RPM, and a Zero-RPM mode allows the fans to stop completely under low system loads. The fans operate with a Magnetic Dome bearing to reduce friction and noise, which ranges from 10 dB at minimum speed to 37 dB at maximum output. An integrated temperature sensor in each fan enables precise, real-time thermal response.
