The Cisco Catalyst 1300 8-Port Gigabit Full PoE Managed Switch (C1300-8FP-2G) is a Layer 3 switch for business networks. It features eight Gigabit RJ-45 ports and two 1G combo uplink slots. The device offers a switching capacity of 20 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 14.88 Mpps. It is equipped with a 1500 MHz processor and 1024 MB of DDR4 RAM.

Management is performed via a web interface or command-line utility; the device is an on-premises unit and does not support cloud management. Designed for standard rack mounting, it provides initial configuration access through RJ-45 or USB Type-C console ports. A 120 W power budget allows for PoE+ support across the eight ports. Up to eight switches can be stacked together to expand the local infrastructure. Maximum power consumption is 148.12 W under full load.
