The COROS POD 2 Running Sensor is a compact wearable that captures detailed movement data beyond standard GPS. It clips to a shoe or waistband and records running metrics such as pace, cadence, stride length, and ground contact time. This is particularly useful for treadmill runs or indoor tracks, where satellite signals are weak or unavailable. An integrated rechargeable battery provides power for extended training sessions. Data is transferred via Bluetooth directly to the COROS app. The unit also logs ambient temperature and altitude, adding environmental context to each run.

Weighing just 5.6 g, the housing is made from a fibre-reinforced polymer and carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
