This DEWALT DCS520NT-XJ 54V XR FLEXVOLT Plunge Saw Body with TSTAK Case is a cordless plunge saw designed for precise plunge cuts, panel cutting, worktop fitting, and door trimming. It achieves a 59 mm cutting depth at 90° and 44 mm at 45°, making it suitable for wood, laminate, composite materials, and sheet materials. The tool runs on a 54V XR FLEXVOLT battery within the DEWALT 54V XR FLEXVOLT battery system. Its plunge mechanism allows the blade to enter the workpiece at any point, which is useful for trimming doors and cutting panels without starting from an edge. This body-only unit requires a compatible DEWALT XR FLEXVOLT battery and charger, neither of which is included.

The saw uses a 165 mm, 42-tooth blade with a 20 mm bore for clean cuts across the supported materials. Bevel adjustment allows angled cuts up to 47° for mitre joints and bevel edges. An integrated dust extraction port connects to a suitable extractor to keep the cutting line and work area clear.
