Makita GA023GZ 40V XGT Brushless Angle Grinder, Body Only is a battery-powered angle grinder for professional grinding, cutting and finishing. It is intended for work on metal, stone and concrete. A brushless motor drives compatible discs at 3,000 to 8,500 RPM. Adjustable speed control allows the rotation rate to be matched to heavier material removal or more controlled finishing. Power comes from the 40 V Makita XGT battery platform.

The dust-extraction port is prepared for Makita AWS wireless extraction control. Its 125 mm disc format suits commonly available grinding and cutting accessories of that diameter. The compact handheld body weighs 3 kg and combines an ergonomic design with a soft-grip surface. A protective guard is supplied to help contain sparks and debris around the working disc. This body-only version does not include a battery or charger, so an existing compatible XGT battery system is required.
