SONOFF ZBDongle-E - Zigbee 3.0 coordinator USB dongle

The SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus ZBDongle-E is a USB Zigbee coordinator that connects compatible smart-home devices to a home-automation platform. It supports Zigbee 3.0 using the IEEE 802.15.4 standard. Compatible devices include Zigbee sensors, switches, lights and plugs. Home Assistant, openHAB and Zigbee2MQTT are among the supported platforms. Integrations with Apple Home, SmartThings, Google Home and Alexa depend on compatible software and configurations. It does not provide Wi-Fi or Z-Wave connectivity.

The aluminium-alloy housing surrounds a plug-in device designed to connect to a USB host. It draws power from a 5 V USB connection, so it does not need batteries or a separate AC adapter. An LED indicator provides a visual status cue. Supported host operating systems include Linux, Ubuntu, Raspbian, Windows and macOS. Control is managed through compatible home-automation software, with smartphone or tablet control available through supported platforms. The dongle can be used to build or expand a local Zigbee mesh network.
