The Einhell GC-LC 18/20 Li T-Solo 18V Cordless Pole Saw is designed for pruning high tree branches and maintaining taller shrubs from ground level. It runs on an 18 V lithium-ion battery and uses a brushed motor. The chain travels at 5.5 m/s, providing the rated cutting performance for wood and tree branches. This bare-tool version is supplied without a battery or charger, so both must be obtained separately. Cordless operation avoids a trailing mains cable when moving around trees and garden borders.

Metal gearing forms the drive assembly, while automatic chain lubrication supports consistent chain movement through a cut. A metal claw stop braces the saw against a branch, and a chain catch bolt provides an additional control feature. The rubberised soft-grip surface and ergonomic handle provide defined holding areas during overhead positioning. An included shoulder strap helps distribute the load during routine pruning. Its adjustable handle allows the shaft to be set for the working position.
