The Einhell TE-PL 18/82 Li-Solo 18V Cordless Planer (Body Only) is a battery-powered planer for smoothing, levelling, reducing thickness and chamfering wooden workpieces. Its blade shaft runs at up to 15,000 RPM, supporting steady material removal across timber surfaces. Each pass covers an 82 mm planing width and can remove up to 2 mm of material. The cutting depth is adjustable, allowing shallower passes where finer control is required. This format suits DIY woodworking, home renovation and general planing tasks.

A solid aluminium soleplate provides the running surface, while the reversible planer blade handles the cut. A V-groove in the soleplate helps guide the planer when chamfering edges. The automatic parking shoe helps protect the blade and workpiece when the planer is set down. An ergonomic handle with Softgrip supports a secure hold during longer jobs. Dust can be directed through the extraction port to a suitable external system, helping contain debris around the work area.
