Fiskars QuikDrill M Garden Drill 150 mm

The Fiskars QuikDrill M (150 mm) is designed primarily for installing medium-sized fence posts. This hand-operated tool drills 150 mm diameter holes into the earth. Instead of using a traditional auger design, the head features two blades that slice through the soil rather than pushing it aside. This creates clean, vertical hole edges, which helps ensure posts are seated securely. Because the tool is operated manually, the user receives immediate tactile feedback when the blade hits rocks or dense clay.

The 1100 mm length allows for operation from a standing position. A rigid plastic handle provides a secure grip for both pushing and turning. At 2.3 kg, the tool is heavy enough to assist with ground penetration without being difficult to manage during repetitive tasks. Aside from installing posts, it can be used for tasks such as planting large perennials. The simple construction is easy to maintain; cleaning the soil from the shaft after use is sufficient.
