TP-Link TD-W9960V(DE) - DSL Modem Router, Black

The TP-Link TD-W9960V(DE) is a VDSL/ADSL modem router with Wi‑Fi 4 and a DECT base for fixed xDSL internet connections. It does not have a SIM card slot and does not support 5G or 4G, requiring a wired broadband connection via the DSL WAN port. The integrated modem connects directly to the service provider over a telephone line. Wireless connectivity is restricted to the 2.4 GHz band using the Wi‑Fi 4 (IEEE 802.11n) standard, with a maximum data rate of 300 Mbit/s. This is suitable for basic tasks such as web browsing and email for a small number of connected devices.

Two external antennas distribute the wireless signal. Four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports support speeds of 10, 100, and 1000 Mbit/s for connecting computers or consoles. An RJ-11 port provides a connection for a traditional analogue telephone. Network security features include standard encryption, a built-in firewall, and protection against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. Users can configure guest access and parental controls to manage network activity. The unit is powered by an external DC adapter and is wall-mountable.
