The DEEPCOOL AK500S DIGITAL is a single-tower CPU air cooler engineered to manage thermal output efficiently in mid-to-high-end computing systems. It is rated for a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 240 W, utilizing a nickel-plated copper base plate connected to five 6 mm copper heat pipes. These heat pipes transfer thermal energy directly to a large aluminum fin stack designed for maximizing surface area contact with cooling air. Heat dissipation relies on a single high-performance 120 mm fan.

The included 120 mm fan utilizes a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) and supports Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control for dynamic speed adjustment between 500 and 1850 RPM. This configuration achieves a maximum airflow of 68.99 CFM, generating a peak noise level of 28 dB. The cooler measures 160 mm in height, requiring adequate vertical clearance within the PC chassis.
