The Cudy RE1200 AC1200 is a Wi-Fi range extender designed to rebroadcast wireless signals and cover dead zones. It supports the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard, providing dual-band connectivity across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. The device reaches a maximum theoretical transfer rate of 867 Mbps, with 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. MU-MIMO technology allows the extender to communicate with multiple clients simultaneously, and it is compatible with standard IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac protocols for integration with existing home routers.

Two external 5 dBi antennas improve signal reception and coverage. A Fast Ethernet port is included for a stable wired connection to devices like desktop PCs or smart TVs. You can set up the extender using the WPS button or the web-based management interface. LED indicators for power, WLAN, and WPS help you find the best placement for the unit. The device supports WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 encryption to secure the network. It also supports mesh operation, allowing it to integrate into compatible Cudy systems under a single network name.
