The Bosch GBH 3000 Professional Rotary Hammer (SDS-Plus, 800 W) is a mains-powered tool designed for drilling, hammer drilling, and chiselling. It runs on an 800 W motor that drives the chuck, transferring force consistently into hard building materials. It delivers up to 3.2 joules of impact energy at a maximum rate of 4,000 blows per minute. This action can be applied to concrete, brick, masonry, and stone for standard construction tasks. With the hammer function switched off, the tool can also be used for ordinary rotary drilling in metal and wood.

Weighing 3,100 g, the tool remains manageable during extended periods of overhead or horizontal work. An integrated reverse function helps free jammed drill bits or loosen stuck fasteners. The adjustable speed control lets the operator regulate the rotation rate to suit the material. A dedicated chiselling setting allows for light demolition and surface preparation as well as standard hole drilling.
