The Makita 710W Angle Drill is a corded AC power tool designed for heavy-duty drilling in confined spaces. It works well on wood and steel where a standard straight drill cannot reach. Running on a continuous mains supply, it handles demanding jobs on professional sites. It drills up to 38 mm in timber and 13 mm in metal, and also drives screws, with a reverse function for removing fasteners. Supplied as the tool only, bits are sold separately.
A keyed chuck holds accessories with shanks from 2 mm to 13 mm in diameter. A variable-speed trigger lets the user control the rotation during use. For stability, the drill has an auxiliary handle and a soft-grip surface. The 2.5-metre cable gives enough reach from a mains socket without getting in the way on site. At 3700 g, the unit packs into the supplied carrying case for transport.
Key Features:- Mechanical 360° adjustable angle head sets the cutting position for overhead and tight-corner work.
- Two-speed gearbox: 400 RPM in first gear, 600 RPM in second gear, up to 900 RPM maximum no-load speed.
- 123 N·m maximum torque for demanding structural boring.
- 413 mm overall length for deeper access into narrow stud bays and recesses.
- Noise output: 83 dB sound pressure, 91 dB sound power.
- Vibration emission of 4.6 m/s² during metal drilling, for operator exposure assessment.
