The MAKITA 18V Brushless Cordless Impact Drill with 2 Batteries and Case is a rechargeable-battery impact drill for drilling and fastening in wood, steel, concrete and stone. It operates on an 18 V battery platform, so use is not tied to a mains socket. The brushless motor delivers up to 40 N⋅m of torque for driving and drilling. Maximum drilling diameter is 36 mm in wood, 13 mm in steel and 13 mm in concrete; stone capacity is 13 mm.

At 1.7 kg, the impact drill has a pistol-grip design with the controls aligned with the hand. Its keyless chuck accepts bits from 1.5 to 13 mm and does not require a chuck key for changes. An integrated work light illuminates the work area around the bit. The kit contains two removable 2.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries, and a charger is included.
