The BOSCH UniversalDrill 18V Cordless Drill/Driver Bare Tool is a battery-powered drill/driver for everyday drilling and screwdriving. It runs on an 18 V supply, keeping operation independent of a mains lead. Maximum torque is 40 N·m for hard applications, with 23 N·m specified for softer applications. Maximum drilling diameter is 30 mm in wood and 10 mm in steel. These ratings suit common timber and metal work where controlled drilling and driving are required.

The drill weighs 1.2 kg, and its pistol-grip layout includes a soft-grip surface for handling. A keyless chuck accepts bits up to 10 mm and removes the need for a chuck key. The two-speed gearbox and adjustable speed control allow output to be matched to drilling or fastening work. An integrated LED lights the immediate work area in confined or dim locations. The removable lithium-ion battery system is compatible with the POWER FOR ALL ALLIANCE platform. This version is supplied without a battery, charger, or carrying case, so those items need to be sourced separately.
