BOSCH Professional GHO 40-82 C Corded Planer

The Bosch Professional GHO 40-82 C Corded Planer is a mains-powered tool for surfacing timber, levelling uneven boards and producing clean edges. Its 82 mm maximum planing width covers boards up to that width in a single pass. An 850 W input motor drives the cutter at a no-load speed of up to 14,000 rpm. The corded design provides continuous mains operation without battery charging or battery changes.

The Woodrazor blade system is designed to produce a smooth surface finish and simplify blade changes. Constant-speed control helps maintain rotational speed under load, including when working with harder timber. An aluminium bearing housing supports accurate operation around the cutter assembly. The handheld form factor is aimed at carpenters, joiners, professional woodworkers and experienced DIY users. It is suited to workshop preparation tasks and on-site edge work where the tool must move along the timber.
