The Bosch Professional 18V ProCORE18V 5.5 Ah Starter Set is a battery and charger kit for cordless tools within the Bosch Professional 18V System and the AMPShare Alliance. It pairs two 18 V, 5.5 Ah lithium-ion slide-in batteries with a GAL 1880 CV rapid charger. The packs deliver output comparable to corded tools rated up to 1,800 W, making them suitable for Bosch BITURBO equipment. This configuration targets professional tradespeople who require sustained cordless operation across demanding applications. The kit minimises downtime by supplying two high-capacity power sources alongside a dedicated charging unit.

Each battery includes a built-in LED charge indicator for quick runtime assessments. The GAL 1880 CV charger operates from mains electricity and accepts packs across a 14.4–18 V voltage range. A recharge indicator on the unit confirms when a battery reaches full capacity. Both batteries fit all Bosch Professional 18V tools introduced from 2008 onwards, plus products from other AMPShare Alliance brands. The set ships in a cardboard box without a dedicated carrying case.
