On the lowest setting, runtime extends to 60 hours, reducing the frequency of battery changes on multi-day trips.

Weighing 133 grams in a black plastic housing, this headlamp is light enough for extended wear without forehead fatigue. Power comes from three AAA alkaline batteries, which are included in the box; the torch is not rechargeable, so carrying spares is advisable for longer outings.
