The Aqara Camera E1 (model CH-C01E) is an indoor security camera. It uses a 3-megapixel sensor to record at a resolution of 2304 x 1296 pixels. The 101-degree diagonal field of view provides coverage for most rooms. Built-in night vision allows for recording in low-light conditions, and the camera connects via Wi-Fi, removing the need for an Ethernet cable. As the unit is not weatherproof, it is for indoor use only. Users can access live feeds and continuous recording around the clock.

The camera is designed for desk mounting and is powered by a USB connection. It features pan and tilt controls, with a 360-degree panning range. The lens can be set to track movement automatically across the frame. Human detection technology is used to reduce false motion alerts.
