The MOZA Racing Wheel Base Extension Rod (RS054, 15 cm) adjusts the driving position in a sim-racing cockpit. Made from CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminium, it mimics the layout of a real racing steering column. The 15 cm offset allows drivers to adjust the distance between their seat and the wheel rim. Moving the direct drive motor further back also provides space for larger display screens behind the wheel.
Steering rigidity is essential for accurate force feedback. The extension mounts between the motor shaft and the hub to ensure steering inputs remain direct and free of deflection. It is compatible with the brand’s quick-release system, allowing for wheel changes without removing the extension. The additional clearance allows the motor to be concealed behind custom cockpit paneling while keeping the steering controls accessible.
