The Streacom VU1 is a dynamic analogue dial designed for external real-time system monitoring. It presents user-selected metrics by pairing a mechanical analogue pointer with a configurable e-Ink display face for a hybrid data visualization approach. Housed in a 55 mm cubic enclosure, the body is machined from a single piece of extruded aluminum, contributing to its structural integrity. Integrated RGB backlighting illuminates the dial for visibility in various lighting conditions and can be configured to function as a visual status indicator.

This device is capable of displaying a wide range of live system data, including CPU and GPU temperatures, fan speeds, component loads, and storage capacities. Connectivity is handled via a standard USB-C port, a design choice that also allows for daisy-chaining multiple VU1 units to a single host. For advanced configuration and control, including access through a REST API, the dial is intended to operate with a Streacom HUB, which is sold separately. This makes it a functional monitoring tool for custom PC builds, home labs, and compact server applications.
