The Metabo SGS 18 LTX Q is a dual-function, battery-powered garden tool designed for detailed trimming tasks around hedges and lawns. The unit uses an 18V battery to power interchangeable shear heads, which can be swapped between a shrub blade for topiary and a grass blade for edging. An internal motor drives the blades at 2,300 strokes per minute, providing the precision required for detail work that standard strimmers cannot easily manage.

Weighing 800 g without a battery, the tool is easy to manoeuvre around delicate plant beds. The handle features a rubberised soft-grip for comfort and control during extended use, while a built-in safety switch prevents the motor from starting accidentally during transport. The shears are supplied without a battery or charger and are compatible with all 18V Li-ion battery packs from the Cordless Alliance System (CAS).
