The Strong SRT7030 is a free-to-air DVB-S/DVB-S2 satellite receiver designed for unencrypted broadcasts. It features a single tuner capable of decoding both DVB-S and DVB-S2 signals and supports Full HD video output up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. The built-in personal video recorder (PVR) function records live TV to an external storage device, as the unit does not have an internal hard drive. The system memory holds up to 2,000 channels.

Measuring 168 mm in width, this compact unit fits easily alongside other home theatre equipment. The black chassis includes a front display, while the rear panel provides an HDMI 1.3 port for high-definition video and a SCART output for older televisions. Connecting storage media to the USB 2.0 port enables the timeshift feature, allowing users to pause or rewind live television. Viewing schedules are managed via an integrated electronic programme guide (EPG). Lacking Wi-Fi and Ethernet, the receiver functions solely as an offline, standalone device.
