The Garmin Forerunner 265S Music is a compact GPS sports watch designed for running and multisport activities. It provides physiological metrics such as VO2 Max, training load, and recovery time to inform performance management. The device supports multi-band satellite positioning via GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo for location tracking during workouts. With over 30 built-in activity profiles, it accommodates various training disciplines, including a dedicated triathlon mode.

This model features a 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels, protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3. The 42 mm watch case is constructed from a glass fiber reinforced polymer, contributing to a total weight of 39 grams. Onboard sensors include a barometric altimeter, electronic compass, accelerometer, and gyroscope.
