KAI Tim Mälzer TDM1701 Utility Knife 16.5 cm

The KAI TDM1701 utility knife (16.5 cm) is designed for slicing fruit, preparing vegetables, and trimming meat. The 165 mm blade offers more reach than a standard paring knife while remaining more agile than a full-sized chef's knife. The blade features a hammered Tsuchime finish, which reduces the surface area that comes into contact with food, helping to prevent ingredients from sticking. This allows for consistent, thin slicing.

The handle is made from natural walnut wood for a durable, moisture-resistant grip. The ergonomic shape is contoured to fit the hand, providing control during detailed work. Hand washing is required to preserve the wood and the edge, as the knife is not dishwasher-safe. Crafted in Japan using traditional forging techniques, the knife is suitable for both home and professional use.
